Souls-like Racer Nightmare Kart to Get New Free Expansion

There’s not a lot of detail to talk about just yet, but LWMedia has just announced that there’s a free expansion for Nightmare Kart, called “The Old Karts” coming soon! 

Nightmare Kart is a Souls-like racing game where you are a beast hunter, conscripted against your will to participate in a racing tournament. Players must race through blood-soaked gothic streets while riding 12 unique vehicles. Wield powerful weapons to take down your enemies and slaughter beasts to raise your top speed. Perform tricks and drifts to generate Æther to boost and even fight powerful bosses to learn more about this terrible nightmare.

LWMedia also shouted out a couple of others that worked on The Old Karts DLC, including voice actor Tom Shalk who voices Viktor and composer Evelyn Lark who created the main theme for the DLC and the soundtrack for the main game. 

Nightmare Kart is completely free to play and allows for local multiplayer. The upcoming expansion will include: 

• New mini-campaign

• New racers and karts

• New tracks

• New power ups and game modes
