Wired Productions to Partner on New Lovecraftian Horror from Those Who Remain Devs

Wired Productions and Camel 101, the Publisher and Developer of Psychological Horror game Those Who Remain, have just announced their newest upcoming project Beneath. A Lovecraftian first-person survival horror game, Beneath has players battling nightmarish creatures, creeping madness and an ancient evil.

Beneath draws inspiration from classic horror titles like F.E.A.R, Resident Evil and Half-life. The game will feature both heavy action, psychological tension and atmospheric storytelling. You play a Noah Quinn, an experienced diver whose regular expeditions turn into chaos when he finds himself trapped in the depths of the ocean. As supplies dwindle he begins to uncover a sinister conspiracy as he fights terrifying mutations that threaten all of humanity.

To add to the survival horror element of the game, supplies will be scarce and you will have to rely on your stealth in certain areas in order to survive. Confront a variety of enemies from soldiers to horrifying Lovecraftian monsters. Equip your specialized deep-sea dive suit and fight to conserve your oxygen as you delve into the ocean’s abyss to uncover more of what is going on beneath the surface.

Beneath is set to release on PC in 2025 but does not have an exact date just yet. Players that wish to get an early look at the game can now sign up for its closed beta test here. You can stay in the know about upcoming announcements for the game via Steam or the Wired Productions Discord.
