WINGS Investment Fund Adds Four New Games to Its Portfolio

A recent blog post from WINGS, the investment fund committed to funding games by women and other gender-marginalised developers, has just made some big announcements. The first is that they’ve recently raised investment from Innersloth, the studio behind Among Us and Casey Yano, the developer behind Slay the Spire

The WINGS team also mentioned that there are four new studios they’ve supported to help them self-publish their games which brings the WINGS portfolio to 17 games by women-led teams.

The four games funded in 2024 are:

  • Grimoire Groves from Developer Stardust, founded by Tabea Iseli. Stardust is working on finishing up their adorable roguelite Grimoire Groves. Join the colorful witches in a quest to restore the groves to the diverse and thriving place it used to be. Befriend magical creatures, collect fruits, craft new spells and plant creatures to repopulate the forest.

  • Camper Van: Make it Home from Malapata Studio, founded by Anabel Sanchez. A casual, relaxing puzzle game, Camper Van: Make It Home is all about customizing your camper van into a dream home-on-wheels. Move your decorations around and discover all of the possibilities you have in this small but comforting space.

  • Prison of Husk from Glasshead Dolls, founded by Tammy morley. Prison of Husk is a retro souls-like game where players awaken as a doll whose one goal is to find their beloved. Explore the afterlife full of secrets and powerful adversaries inspired by the interconnected design of the first Dark Souls and melancholic world of Ico.

  • The final game is a secret project from a studio founded by Catherine Unger, Daisy Fernandez and George Batchelor.

WINGS is actively looking for new games and teams to support. For more information and to see more about the projects they’ve already helped fund, you can head over to their website. You can also find them at major game events throughout 2025 including GDC, Gamescom Latam or Develop Brighton.
