Dark Fantasy RPG Witchfire Receives Major Update

Developer The Astronauts has just released a huge update for the dark fantasy shooter, Witchfire. This patch is the largest to hit the game since its Early Access release in September and includes a new labyrinthian level to explore, powerful new items, and loads of bug fixes.

Witchfire is a single-player, dark fantasy RPG FPS, where you play as a wicked sinner turned witch hunter on his last mission to reach salvation. Witchfire comes from the creative leads behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm with a unique blend of souls-like, extraction and roguelite gameplay.

The new Witch Mountain update allows players to discover the secrets lying within the game. A brand new, winding maze awaits players along with a fresh set of challenges and gameplay mechanics. Apart from giving players access to the largest level yet, the update introduces an array of new items enhancing the experience, including an often requested revolver that allows for an alternative firing style. The patch also contains a huge set of improvements and bugfixes. You can see the full list of patch notes here.

The Witch Mountain update is available now on Steam and Epic Game Store for free for all Witchfire owners. Those yet to purchase Witchfire can get it now at a 10% discount as part of the Steam Spring Sale.
