Third-person PvPvE RPG Legacy: Steel & Sorcery Receives Major Update
Legacy: Steel & Sorcery, the PvPvE RPG from Notorious Studios (made up of developers from Blizzard Entertainment), has just received a major update. After over 2,000 reviews have come in since the game’s launch into Early Access earlier this year, this new update is the first step towards its 1.0 launch.
An extraction title with MMO elements, Legacy: Steel & Sorcery is a unique take inspired by the raids of the classic MMO genre. Players team up to fight against enemies and other raiding parties as they pilfer what they can from the world around them. The first update helps to balance combat among the existing heroes, giving ranged attackers more of an edge over their initially overwhelming melee counterparts.
The update also includes additional bug fixes, helping to run the game much smoother ahead of its upcoming summer update which will see the arrival of the wizard class. The summer patch will also include:
A New Map: Dungeon - smaller, closed-quarter dungeon map with more challenging encounters and higher quality loot.
Goblin Pawn Shop - If players lose their gear during an adventure, the goblins may scavenge it and sell it back to them for a price.
New Social Space - Queue Goldbrook solo or with a squad, try out their skills on the test dummies or each other in the dueling area.
More Progression - New Lodge modules like the transmutation device that allows players to transform one into another, and the critter habitat that holds their critters and generates special resources.
