cRPG Legends of Awen: Rise of the Fianna to Launch Kickstarter Soon

A gorgeous new cRPG, Legends of Awen: Rise of the Fianna from Developer Hawkswell Studios has announced that it will be launching a Kickstarter soon to help support development. At launch, players can expect to dive into a unique, medieval-fantasy world inspired by Celtic myths. 

In Legends of Awen, you play as Finn, an orphan gifted with otherworldly powers. Players are tasked with gathering a party and rising to become their respected leader. Protect the kingdom of Tara from powerful enemies and supernatural forces. Unravel conspiracies at court to unveil an even greater threat to the kingdom.

The Fianna, Champions of the High Queen, are trained in the ways of the Bard, Druid and Warrior. Finn is also fully customizable and their abilities can be mixed and matched to give players access to a wide range of skills and abilities. When in combat, the game will shift from real-time exploration to turn-based Encounter Mode which will play out on a tactical grid. Depending on what time of gameplay style you choose, you can utilize your weapons and spells to take down enemies or attempt to de-escalate violence using your characters traits, non-lethal skills and dialogue opportunities. 

The choices you make as you play will be very important. Throughout the game you can forge bonds with your companions and engage in romances that each come with their own secrets and goals. The choices that you make starting from the very beginning with your character creation will impact how the world around you changes and reacts to any given situation.
