Urban Myth Dissolution Center to Release Manga with Game Launch
Hakababunko, the Developer behind the upcoming visual novel Urban Myth Dissolution Center is set to release a manga on February 12th that coincides with the release of the game on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The manga, Case File: Kune Kune, will have an original story not included in the game.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center is a visual novel where players must solve a variety of cases involving cursed relics, rental properties with shady histories and dimensional anomalies. If something doesn’t seem quite right, the center is probably investigating it! The game is episodic and each adventure includes multiple myths in a gorgeous pixel art style.
Case File: Kune Kune follows the team as they investigate a case involving a construction site surveyor who has fallen into a coma. Players will also meet the surveyor’s cousin and a desperate wife seeking answers. There is more than meets the eye with this particular mystery and a dark family history will be revealed along with a connection to a well-known Japanese urban legend - Kune Kune. Players and readers can pick up the manga completely for free on February 12th on Manga Plus in English.
Hankababunko has also announced that the game’s 32 track soundtrack composed by sound director Ada-P and MURASAKI will be available on launch day as well.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center launches February 12, 2025 for PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. The game will support many languages at launch including: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Arabic and Hindi.
