1000XRESIST Hits Over 70,000 Copies Sold
Sunset Visitor, the incredible team behind the award-winning 1000XRESIST have just recently announced on their Steam Page that the game has reached over 70,000 copies sold on all platforms. Their full blog over on Steam shares some of the cool things that have happened since the game's release back in May of last year plus some of the ways that they’re continuing to celebrate.
Launching today is a new bundle on steam where players can grab 1000XRESIST and Until Then, the beautiful and emotional title from Polychroma Games. Grab two of the best games of last year and receive a 13% discount. They are also partnering with Localthunk, the dev behind Balatro for its free “Friends of Jimbo” update where you’ll be able to use card skins to show off your love of 1000XRESIST in your deck.
The team also took the opportunity to talk about the amount of publications that included 1000XRESIST on their “favorite games of 2024” lists including: GameRant, The Gamer, Polygon, Rolling Stone, The Verge and many more. The game was also nominated for a Golden Joystick award for Best Storytelling and for Best Music, Best Writing, Best Indie and Game of the Year at the New York Game Awards and much more. And, of course, 1000XRESIST won the indie award for Best Narrative at our inaugural Indie Game Awards in December.
Needless to say that 1000XRESIST has had a great few months since launch, but they’ve also announced that there’s more updates on the way. The team is hoping to release merch soon including Piano Books and more music related merchandise as well as plans to release models for fans to create animations and content.
If you haven’t already, you can grab 1000XRESIST on Steam or wishlist it to keep up to date on future posts and discounts.
