The Kickstarter Campaign for Survival Game ASTROBOTANICA Has Just Gone Live
Space Goblin Studio has just launched the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming survival game ASTROBOTANICA. Slated for this Winter, any players that wish to jump into the game ahead of its release are invited to support the campaign which has a goal of £25,000 ($32,000). If funded, closed Alpha access will be granted to backers during the summer.
To celebrate the launch of the game’s Kickstarter, the team has also released a brand new gameplay trailer to give players a look at what the game has in store for them. The trailer shows off the game’s core design pillars: prehistoric botany, exploration and crafting, and connecting with Neanderthal tribes that inhabited Earth 300,000 years ago.
ASTROBOTANICA hopes to offer a more relaxed experience than typical titles in the survival genre allowing players to collect resources essential to survival without any kind of existential threat or danger. The game will reward players for exploring, solving puzzles, experimenting and collaborating with Primal Humans.
With Kickstarter support, the team hopes to accelerate their work, expand on core gameplay systems, introduce new environments and refine mechanics with direct involvement from the community. Players, whether they are able to back the project or not, are encouraged to follow the game on socials in order to help shape the game ahead of its release later this year.
Check out that brand new trailer for ASTROBOTANICA above and head over to their Kickstarter to consider backing the game and help it come to life. You can also wishlist the game now on Steam.
