Horror Dating Sim Cooking Companions Heads to Consoles Later This Month

Developer Deer Dream Studios in partnership with publisher Serenity Forge has just announced that their psychological horror dating sim Cooking Companions is headed to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on April 29th, 2025. This console release is accompanied by a PlayStation 5 premium physical edition as well. 

Cooking Companions follows a group of friends that find themselves trapped in a cabin deep in the woods. When starvation begins to set in, strange events start to occur and they must face difficult challenges. Explore rooms of the cabin, build relationships and carve your own path in this visual novel with multiple endings.

The upcoming console release introduces 15 fully animated cutscenes, new secrets and will be fully localized in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. The PC version will receive this update on April 29th. 

The Cooking Companions Premium Physical Edition is up for pre-order today from the Serenity Forge Store and other retails. This special edition includes an illustrated inner cover sheet, a sticker sheet and more fun goodies.
