Strange Scaffold Annonces Genre-bending Game Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3

Developer Strange Scaffold the team behind I Am Your Beast, CLICKOLDING and El Paso, Elsewhere, has partnered with publisher Frosty Pop for an upcoming genre-bending game Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3. 

More than just being a mouthful to say, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 is a sequel to a game series that doesn’t exist. The game is a match-3 survival horror comedy RPG Metroidvania (the team is calling it a “Matchroidvania”), that transports you to a mansion overrun with dinosaurs and code-breaking bugs. 

Discover the story of how, 20 years ago, the genre-fusion game Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion released and became a smash hit. Now, the franchise is returning with a third iteration which gets announced on gaming’s biggest stage. Meanwhile, J.J. Hardwell, the protagonist has to fight off glitching raptors and t-rexes in what he soon realizes is a broken video game that he must save.

The first two chapters of Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 is available to play this week for Steam Next Fest with some special additions in the demo to reflect the event. The full game is set to launch in April on Steam for PC. Wishlist the game now to keep up to date on future announcements.
