Prehistoric Survival Game Astrobotanica Gets Ready to Launch Upcoming Kickstarter

Developer Space Goblin Studio has just recently announced that the Kickstarter for their upcoming botany-centric survival game Astrobotanica will launch later this year at the beginning of Spring 2025. The team has published their pre-launch page so that players can keep an eye out for the date of the Kickstarter’s launch.

In Astrobotanica you play as Xel, a highly educated extraterrestrial and biology scientist who has crash-landed on a prehistoric Earth. Xel must use his wits and knowledge in order to survive, shape and deal with this new environment. Astrobotanica takes the core foundation of survival games, but is instead filled with relaxing exploration, puzzle-solving and experimenting. Nurture plant species, experiment with flora to discover their unique qualities and effects on living organisms and the environment, travel between islands and explore different biomes, craft different mixtures using ingredients obtained from the planet and much more.

If funded, proceeds from the game’s Kickstarter campaign will help to shape and expand content based on player feedback, accelerate the development timeline, provide the team with the resources to balance and refine gameplay and will help to foster a close relationship with backers ensuring their feedback will shape the final version of Astrobotanica

Supporters that back Astrobotanica on Kickstarter will gain access to exclusive rewards, including access to a closed alpha version of the game and their direct feedback will influence how the final version of the game looks and feels. You can follow the official Kickstarter page here and wishlist the game on Steam now.
