Action-Platformer Elsie Will Get a Physical Edition this May

Meridiem announced today that a physical edition of the technicolor, hyperkinetic, rogue-like action-platformer Elsie will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on May 22nd, 2025. Developed by Knight Shift Games and digitally published by Platonic Friends, the physical Magitek Edition will be available across European specialist stores.

In Elsie, the talented scientist Dr. Grey has engineered a team of high-tech androids with the power to prevent the natural disasters that have been occurring all over the planet. These androids “The Guardians” use an energy source called the Arclight Core to help them bend the elements to their will. Then one day, the Guardians disappeared. The natural disasters surged again and Dr. Grey created one last robot, Elsie, to find the Guardians and save the planet.

Elsie features intense combat where players must dive, dash and shoot their way through stages filled with enemies while performing perfect parries. Die again and again as you explore Planet Ekis’s procedurally generated neon biomes. Customize your character with upgrades, skills and weapons to change each run. Take on bosses and try to save the world.
