Sci-fi Visual Novel Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is Out Now

Developer Space Colony Studios and Publisher Astrolabe Games have just released their sci-fi visual novel Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog. To celebrate the game which has released for PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch, the team has released a final launch trailer to give players a glimpse into what they can expect from this interstellar adventure. 

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a visual novel in the spirit of classic PC-9800 titles. The game features a fully-colored palette and vintage green screen options. The team’s goal was create an “era-accurate” game that feels retro in every way from text to visual effects. The game has over 300,000 words of text and delivers an immerse adventure that draws players into a classic 80s sci-fi adventure. The game will feature rich branching storylines, engaging pacing, vibrant characters and a distinctive art style.

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog has also been released physically for PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch alongside a special boxed Starship Edition only for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in Europe.  

Optional DLC will be available for the game featuring a 22-track original soundtrack and a 15-page digital art book. 

Players can pick up Stories from Sol: The Gun Dog right now on PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch. You can pick up a physical version of the game via multiple retailers.
