Kristala Team Introduces New Character Coming to Early Access Voiced by Julien Solomita

Astral Clocktower Studios, the team behind ARPG Kristala, have just announced that they are collaborating with popular YouTuber and gaming creator, Julien Solomita, who will be making his voice-acting debut for the game. Solomita will play rodent adventurer Gustav Gondasa and will be officially introduced in Kristala’s next major content update, going live later this month.

In Kristala, players explore a rich, fantasy world featuring challenging combat, acrobatic parkour, exploration and a detailed story. Gustav is the first of the Hemani faction, a group of rodents who serve as allies to the feline Anagativa, to make an appearance in the game. Players will have the option to aid Gustav in a series of quests and, in turn, bond with him adding a meaningful companionship to this terrifying, dark world.

As Gustav’s role in the game grows and becomes more important, he will offer critical help to support the player in their journey, but Kristala’s February Update will include more than just the addition of Gustav himself. It will also include:

  • A new mechanic tied to food, including craftable recipes and consumable snack items

  • A fully redesigned Menu/UI system

  • A tools and tool-crafting menu features Throwing Knives

  • Dodge attacks and quicker takedown

  • More realistic parkour movements and NPC interactions and refined enemy spawn movements

  • Chapter I localization in four key language: Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (LATAM), French and German

By partnering with Solomita, Astral Clocktower Studios is also working towards ensuring it has a positive impact on the real-world. ASC and Solomita, as an LA native, wish to give back to animals in need that have been displaced by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. A percentage of profits generated from sales of Kristala and its related merchandise will be donated directly to the Pasadena Humane Society in order to help with this effort.

Kristala’s new update is set to release later this month with its full launch planned for early next year. Players can dive into the demo version of the game currently available on Steam and wishlist it there as well.
