Here’s Our Favorite Announcements from the Triple-i Initiative April 2025
2025 is proving to be one of the best year’s for indie and we’re so excited to be able to see even more of what’s coming up the rest of the year and beyond. The Triple-I Initiative just showed off a handful of amazing games and we’ve put together a quick glimpse at our favorites.

No, I’m Not Human
Game publisher CRITICAL REFLEX (Buckshot Roulette, Mouthwashing) and developer Trioskaz just announced that their anxiety-horror thriller about paranoia in the End of Times, No, I’m Not Human, will be launching later this fall on Steam. It will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The Alters
11 bit studios announced that its sci-fi survival game The Alters will launch on June 13th, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and day one on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
CloverPit
Future Friends Games in partnership with indie studio Panik Arcade announced their slot machine horror roguelike CloverPit and launched a demo of the game which is available now. A mix between Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, CloverPit is set to release on Steam later this year.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault
We got a closer look at Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault which will be headed to PC this summer.
Speedrunners 2: King of Speed
A huge announcement we were stoked to see was the announcements of Speedrunners 2: King of Speed, sequel to 2016’s Speedrunners from DoubleDutch Games and published by tinyBuild. The sequel heads to PC in 2025 and consoles in 2026.
Ikuma: The Frozen Compass
Indie developer Mooneye Studios unveiled their upcoming co-op adventure Ikuma: The Frozen Compass which will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Frostrail
Developer FakeFish (Barotrauma) showed off a trailer for its first-person shooter, open-world survival crafting game Frostrail set to arrive on Steam Early Access in 2025.
Tears of Metal
Paper Cult announced a limited time open beta (April 10th-17th) for its medieval hack-and-slash co-op roguelike title Tears of Metal which is set to release in full later this year on PC.
The Eternal Life of Goldman
From Developer Weappy Studio, The Eternal Life of Goldman is a platformer adventure inspired by ancient fables and depicted in classic frame-by-frame animation.
Neverway
Kicking off the show was Neverway, a stunning psychological horror RPG. It doesn’t have a release date just yet but we absolutely cannot wait to play.
OPUS: Prism Peak
From developer SIGONO Inc. and publisher Shueisha Games, OPUS: Prism Peak is a stunning story rich adventure game that showed off a new trailer announcing a fall release window.
