Here’s Everything Shown Off in the Dames 4 Games Spring Showcase 2025

Dames 4 Games yesterday had an awesome showcase that gave players a look at some great games both out now and upcoming. Most, if not all, of the games included in the showcase are led by incredible women in the industry. 

In case you missed it, check out the full showcase stream below as well as a summary of the games that were included in the Developer Spotlights sections of the stream followed by a handful of games that shared trailers. Developer Spotlights

  • Ritual of Raven

    • The team at Spellgarden Games showed off Ritual of Raven, a story based farming sim where you enchant arcana constructs to do the farming for you.

  • Keepers of Astraela

    • GSE Studios is a team that creates otome games. Keepers of Astraela is a visual novel that follows a writer whose characters come to life. They announced that the game has just received a major update where all sprites have been refinished and a platonic version of Bobby’s route has been added. 

  • Frogreign

    • Arkanpixel showed off Frogreign, an action-adventure exploration game where you join frog prince Rill who uses his amazing tongue as a grappling hook. 

  • The August Before

    • Created  by four female game designers, The August Before from Silly Little Games is a casual 3D puzzle game about cleaning up, sorting out and packing up  your life before moving on. 

  • Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts

    • From Yaza Games, Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts is a design and illustration sim where you run your own manuscript workshop, receive orders to illustrate medieval books and decorate them in any way you like.

  • The Merry Fairy

    • Developer Pronoia AB spoke about their cozy idle game The Merry Fairy where players spend time in a cozy cottage, collecting adorable doodles, uplifting quotes and whimsical decorations. Create beautiful journal spreads filled with creativity and wonder.

  • Unleaving

    • Unleaving is a game made up of thousands of paintings from Developer Orangutan Matter. Jump into this narrative-driven puzzle platformer where each challenge unfolds within a hand-painted landscape, exploring perception and meaning. The game is available now on PC and Xbox, headed to PlayStation soon.

  • World Reborn

    • Wicked Saint Studios spoke about their upcoming title World Reborn, the first story game that will reveal your real-life “character strengths” and help you use them to better your reality. The game is backed by behavioral science and positive psychology and is designed to boost your self-belief.

  • Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To

    • Soft Not Weak showed off Spirit: Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To, a match 3 visual novel set in a lush world of witchy demons. Cast spells, be queer and crash the biggest concert of the year in this super fun title. You can check out our full review of Spirit Swap here

  • Misgiven

    • Misgiven from Symmetry Break Studio is an atmospheric adventure sci-fi game where you are stranded in a city veiled in toxic fog. Take on a stranger’s mask to survive, find allies as a harbinger of doom, wrestle your thoughts via a tangible dialogue system and try to keep up your facade, or dare to drop it. 

  • Angeline Era

    • A retro-looking hack and slash adventure, Angeline Era from Analgesic Productions has players exploring a world of Fae, Humans and Angels. Automatically attack enemies by bumping into them, explore the game’s haunting lore and explore the world at your own pace.

  • Kokoro Kitchen

    • From Mango Leaf Games, Kokoro Kitchen is a farm-to-table cooking game where you’ll restore a cozy Japanese restaurant, culminate a bountiful garden of fresh ingredients and prepare mouth-watering Japanese dishes for hungry locals.

  • The Abbess Garden

    • The team at MD Studio announced that the Steam page is now live for their upcoming title The Abbess Garden. The Abbess Garden is a story rich mystery game set in 17th-century France. Play as Agnes, a young peasant asks to grow plants, find and identify new ones and decorate the garden all while helping the community to discover a spy plot.

  • Keyword 2: Nightfall

    • Sequel to Keyword: A Spider’s Thread, Keyword 2: Nightfall from Developer City From Naught Inc. is a heart-gripping cyberpunk adventure where every dark corner of this intricate vertical city is yours to explore. Interrogate witnesses, investigate murders and even enjoy hotpots. 

  • PEPPERED: an Existential Platformer

    • Mostly Games announced the release date for their upcoming platformer title PEPPERED: an Existential Platformer. In PEPPERED, doomsday is just around the corner. Save the world or become an eternal corporate slave for the God of Death. Choices matter. Or do they? Goof around and find out.
