Exclusive: Dire Vengeance Switch Version Announced

Dire Vengeance might just be the last video game you ever need, and that’s why the Nintendo Switch announcement is a game-changer and today’s best news. A portal has opened up after cultists launched a demonic invasion and it’s up to Pandora to protect the World of Light. Players can take on the demonic threat in this action-packed platformer that’s built with pretty, hand-drawn graphics and features a rad, metal soundtrack once the game hits Nintendo Switch on October 26th.

Dire Vengeance has enjoyed success on Steam since its Fall 2021 PC release, and it’s easy to see why. Dire Vengeance is a challenging platformer first and foremost (watch out for traps and hazards!) but the game is packed with firepower too. Dire Vengeance contains over 20 unique weapons to choose from but the damage can keep stacking with the game’s robust power-up system. Collect Soul Orbs as you leap, lunge, and slash your way through the game’s 60+ unique enemies to keep increasing your power. And you’re going to need all the help you can get, if you’re going to take out the game’s 20+ bosses. The game even has a Bestiary, so you can make a note of every demon that dared to defy you. It’s safe to say that Dire Vengeance will delight fans of 16-bit platformers and run-and-guns, but it’s also ready to captivate a new generation of gamers. 

Dire Vengeance will be available to purchase on Nintendo Switch for $14.99 starting October 26, 2022. The game is also available on Steam if you want to double-dip and support Magic Shot Games, the two person team behind your next favorite game. Either way, you’re going to need it on Nintendo Switch. After all, it’s not just a pretty portable game, Dire Vengeance also has a Boss Rush mode. Can you think of a better way to spend your time than slaying back-to-back pixel baddies on Nintendo Switch?
