Cybernetic Roguelite KIBORG Set for April Release

Developer Sobaka Studio announced today that its action rogue-lite KIBORG will release on April 30th, 2025 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One and PC. Pre-orders for the Xbox version of the game open today.

In KIBORG, Morgan Lee has been accused of war crimes he did not commit and has been sentenced to 1,300 years on the galaxy’s worst prison planet. Even death is not an escape for him as his jailors will simply revive him, but there is one way out - win on Cable Galactica’s hottest game show, “The Last Ticket.”

The rules of “The Last Ticket” are simple, there is a shuttle on the roof of the prison and, if you’re able to fight your way through hordes of other inmates and reach it in time you’ll be given your freedom. Thankfully, Morgan has access to cybernetic implants that will help increase the strength of his melee attacks allowing for bone-crushing combos. Later, he can also use giant sledgehammers and special powers like rocket-propelled dash punches and electric shockwaves.

The currency earned in each run can go towards permanent upgrades for Morgan giving him advantages over his opponents.

KIBORG is set to launch on April 30th for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One and PC. You can play the free prologue for KIBORG on Steam now and wishlist the game while you’re there to stay up to date on future announcements.
