Core Keeper Releases 'Bags & Blasts' Update on March 10th
Developer Pugstorm, creators of the open world survival game Core Keeper, have just announced that the biggest update for the game since their 1.0 launch date is on the way on March 10th.
Core Keeper is an open world mining sandbox adventure for 1-8 players. Explore a vast cavern of creatures, relics and resources, fight, craft, farm and unravel the mystery of the ancient Core.
The ‘Bags & Blasts’ update brings a brand-new area to the game. The new sun-drenched sands of the Oasis can be found within The Desert of Beginnings and is home to the adorable Drohmble, a camel-like creature that wanders the plains. The Drohmble offer a valuable resource useful for crafting new mid-late game weapons. The update also introduces a new boss, Nimruza, Queen of the Burrowed Sand. A gigantic super cicada, Nimruza makes for a royal challenge and is one of the game’s biggest boss fights yet. Bags & Blasts also adds a new explosive skill tree that players can complete to get 8 new skills, plus the addition of brand-new bomb types, including the powerful vacuum-creating Void Bomb and the multi-blast Blunder Bomb.
The ‘Bags & Blasts’ Update for Core Keeper will be available to players on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on March 10th. It is also available on Game Pass for console, PC and cloud.
