City Builder City Tales - Medieval Era is Set to Launch Into Early Access May 22nd
Indie studio Irregular Shapes and publisher Firesquid have just announced today at the Future Games Show that City Tales - Medieval Era is set to launch into Early Access on May 22nd. The demo for the game will be available to play again in order to celebrate the City Builder & Colony Sim Fest taking place March 20th to March 31st.
City Tales - Medieval Era will offer an Early Access launch full of content with an intricate economy with over 50 different types of resources and over 60 types of buildings. Immerse yourself in a city where each building is truly unique using the game’s custom 3D procedural engine.
The game will also emphasize the narrative with a cast of companions who will work with the players in order to build the city. The player’s decisions will shape how each story unfolds, adding a new layer of replayability and immersion to the city-builder genre.
Irregular Shapes plans to expand the game with new content regularly during its Early Access period which will include more buildings, resources and a deeper companion system with more narrative elements, maps and quality-of-life updates.
City Tales - Medieval Era is set to release in Early Access on PC on May 22nd, 2025. You can wishlist the game now to keep up to date with upcoming announcements.
