Another Crab's Treasure to Get Free Content Update, Physical Editions AND New Game+

Everyone hold onto your shells, this is gonna be a big one. 

The amazing team at Aggro Crab are giving us gifts later this month and we are completely stoked. It was just announced that in order to celebrate the one year anniversary of the game’s release, Another Crab’s Treasure will be getting a YEAR OF THE CRAB update which will be a completely free content update set to release on April 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. A Nintendo Switch release of the update will be released soon after. 

The new update includes new game plus mode, brand new upgrades and unlocks, new costumes for Kril, a boss rush mode and brand new achievements/trophies.

Another Crab’s Treasure has over 12,900 reviews on Steam and has sold over 50,000 copies. The game follows hermit crab Kril, who embarks on a grand journey to buy back his repossessed shell. It is a hilarious soulslike adventure where you’ll need to repurpose the trash around you to help you withstand attacks from enemies until you can get your precious shell back.

But if that wasn’t enough, Aggro Crab has also announced that in collaboration with iam8bit, Another Crab’s Treasure will be getting a physical edition which will include the full game and DLC on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The studio will have more to share about that later this year.
