AbleToPlay is a New Discovery Platform Helping Gamers with Disabilities
Games technology company Good Trouble has just announced AbleToPlay, a revolutionary accessibility-first games discovery platform. AbleToPlay empowers gamers with disabilities and their families to instantly find games that fit their accessibility needs. Backed by the World Institute on Disability, AbleToPlay is pioneering innovative ways to find new favorite games no matter your needs.
The team at Good Trouble hopes to solve this massive problem that is affecting 500 million gamers globally. With the world's first Personalized Score system, they have created a new way to discover accessible games so that players can find exactly what they’re searching for.
Not only is AbleToPlay going to help gamers but it can also help developers and publishers get their games discovered based on fair merits - the design decisions and accessibility features the games objectively have - as well as providing them with best-practices, guidelines and data on how to build more accessible games.
AbleToPlay’s ultimate goal is to be the absolute best way to discover games that fit gamers needs and preferences and they have a great year ahead planned for their new platform. They will be bringing their at-a-glance accessibility scores to more sites and platforms. And, for developers and publishers, they are launching new ways to reach and connect with gamers who need accessible games.
AbleToPlay will be launching publicly on March 10th. Want to learn more? We were able to have a discussion with the project’s founder Arman Nobari, and you can find that interview on the website here. You can also join the AbleToPlay inclusive Discord server to join the conversation and grab early access to the platform.
