Mike, Kyle, Harry, and Becca from the Six One Indie team were recently invited to Dreamhack 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Now that we’ve had time to process all of the amazing indie developers we met and games we played over the weekend (and have thoroughly digested the questionable number of Monster Energy Drinks we drank), we wanted to put together a list of some of our favorites.

We all know what it was like to juggle life in isolation. Keeping in contact with family and friends proved difficult, not to mention trying to keep up with work and daily lives. Games like Fishbowl gives players a glimpse at what life was like during isolation and, if its current demo is any indication, is set to be an beautifully emotional experience.
We’re all living in the same timeline as I Am Bread and Goat Simulator just to give a few examples. But, in spite of the strange timeline that we’ve all found ourselves a part of, no games, at least in my career, have ever been quite as weird as Octopus City Blues.
